After my New York Adventures, we follow with the very creatively formulated sequel: Copenhagen Adventures. Studying abroad was always part of the plan, and I can’t say how happy I am crossing this off the list. You ready? I know I am.

If you told me six months ago that I would be living in New York City for a while in the very near future, I would think you have some serious mental problems. Of course, this has been my dream since I first visited New York when I was twelve. Or since I first learned what Broadway actually is. Or since I found out about Schmackary’s, and their “maple bacon cookies”.
But like all childhood dreams, this one was soon dismissed as impossible. You can’t actually go live in New York. Where would I live? Where would I get the money to live in anything other than an old refrigerator? Where would I place that refrigerator exactly?
But, here we are. Or better yet, here I am. In New York City, in an apartment on the Upper West Side. Just like 6 months ago, I don’t know what my life will look like in half a year from now. But the journey to that point is long and full of possibilities. And I’m going to share it with you, because I am a Millennial and I have the obsessive need to share everything mildly positive with as many people as possible. But mostly because I hope I can finally say: it’s my time to shine. I just have to control the spotlight.
